Department of General Surgery

The General Surgery Department is a vital component of our hospital, specializing in a wide range of surgical procedures to diagnose, treat, and manage various medical conditions. This department is staffed with highly skilled surgeons, nurses, and support staff who work collaboratively to provide comprehensive care to patients. At Mount Zion, the Department of General Surgery and Laparoscopy is equipped with an inpatient bed capacity of 120 beds and an OT complex with 8 functional Operation Theatres. Amalgamated with state of the art equipments and well trained experts, the Department offers a wide range of surgical procedures-including Burns and Reconstructive Surgeries, Onco-surgeries, Maxillofacial surgeries, Gastro surgeries, Hand and micro vascular surgeries, Cosmetic surgeries, Craniofacial surgeries etc. It is adequately supported by a 24 hours functioning Department of Anesthesia.
