The General Medicine Department at Mount Zion Medical College Hospital is one of the best in Central Travancore area and serves as the cornerstone of our institution, offering comprehensive medical care and expertise to patients across a wide spectrum of ailments. This vital department, at Mount Zion, is staffed by highly trained physicians who specialize in diagnosing, treating, and managing various medical conditions. The Department is the committed to healthcare, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive, patient-centered care, and helping to coordinate their medical journey, whether it's for a minor ailment or the management of complex, chronic conditions. It serves as the first point of contact for many patients and plays a pivotal role in delivering compassionate, affordable and accessible care to the underserved sectors of the population. The Department is equipped with an inpatient bed capacity of 120 beds and an Intensive Care Unit with capacity of 30 beds.
