Mount Zion Medical College, Chayalode, inaugurated its new Deluxe Pay Ward 1 on 5 August 2026, marking another important step in the hospital’s commitment to providing modern, comfortable, and patient-centred healthcare services. The new ward was inaugurated by Dr. K. J. Abraham Kalamannil, Chairman of Mount Zion Medical College. The newly opened pay ward includes well-equipped deluxe rooms designed to offer patients greater privacy, comfort, and convenience throughout their hospital stay. The rooms are supported by modern patient-care and safety facilities, including a nurse-call system and an emergency-call system. These facilities allow patients and attendants to quickly contact the nursing team whenever assistance is required. Doctors, nurses, hospital staff, management representatives, and invited guests attended the inauguration ceremony.
